Being a very keen Sea & Coarse fisherman I have tried a selection of Fladen products including rods, reels, and terminal tackle. Being ringed for a fixed spool Sea reel makes this rod perfect for the beginner.

A very good rod if you wanted to spend abit more and get away from the budget level sea fishing rods would be the Fladen Maxx Surf rods coming in three piece blanks in a range of lengths from 13ft up to 15ft with all of which are finished with fold down guides. An absolute pleasure to fish with and finished off in a carbon chequering.

They also do a very good range of telescopic Sea rods, I know what your thinking are they still made as second rate rods?? The answer is NO in the last few years telescopic sea rods have come along way and are closer than ever to being as good to use as any fixed section sea rod you can buy, coming in a range of sizes up to 16ft they are perfect for the fisherman who hasn't got the space to keep fixed section Sea fishing rods.

A very good reel from the Fladen fishing range is the Charter 65 which is a good quality fixed spool reel with a smooth retrieve and good casting ability and is perfect for the entry level sea fisherman and the more experienced angler, another good quality reel that we stock is the Lineaffe Vigor 70 fixed spool sea fishing reel and offers a large line capacity has a very smooth cast and retrieve so is perfect for either ledger fishing or feathering for Mackerel in the summertime.
If you were after a Multiplier reel Fladen Fishing also produce the Surf Chieftain 60 which is a good starting point for anybody wanting to learn or have already mastered the technique.

Coarse Fishing Rods & Reels
